Sud Marmi works in the field of stone quarrying and processing. It is situated in the small town of Custonaci, in the province of Trapani, western Sicily (Italy).
With a potential production capacity of more than 900,000 sq.mt. per year, Sud Marmi is today one of the leading companies of the Italian marble field, especially as regards quarrying and processing two famous Italian marbles: Perlato di Sicilia and Perlatino. Sud Marmi was founded in 1980 by Prof. Mario Pellegrino who gave the company a good and far-sighted organization from the very beginning.
About twenty years later, the active collaboration of the founder’s sons, Vito and Francesco, boosted the company to stand out in terms of dynamism and quality.
Thanks to the forty-years experience acquired in marble manufacturing and the use of high quality materials, advanced technologies and innovative machinery, Sud Marmi has been able to establish its products all over the world, especially in North America, Middle and Far East, North Africa and North Europe.
The company, expanded and completely modernized, bought two quarries, thus increasing its trade with two of the most demanding markets like the North and Central European ones.
